Well, not much. Western PA weather has been terrible for diggin. Got out one time and found a silver charm and some clad. Whoo.

But, I missed talking to ya'll, so here's a couple of things of interest:

Got published on White's. Here's the link, my story is the bottom one.

http://whiteselectronics.com/component/story/month_201002.html?limit=5&start=10#2426

Also thought I'd show you my son's big Christmas gift. We took it out together when I found the silver charm. His first find was a nickle. There's gold in his future! He also found a couple of pennies. You would have thought he won the lottery.

(That's me in the background trying to wake up on Christmas morning)

Regards,
Kevo

Thanks for the post Kevo--I enjoyed reading your article--your descriptions of !the area had me there right with you! Congratulations on the finds!

Bet your son is now wishing for warmer weather about as much as you are if not more! Good luck hunting this year, and hope you hit the mother-lode!

Kevo - Start him young and take him often. Not only will you create the greatest father son bond but don't be surprised if he teaches you some tips down the road. And you can never praise him enough through the early years. I have two daughters so I never got to have that fun I had with my dad teaching me.

Good luck and stay healthy
Steve
