Wow,
That looks better than I remember. The only thing I've ever held that old is a rock.

| Thanks Tim for posting the pictures. And thanks everyone else, that is going to be a tuff one for me to beat. I could hunt for the next 30 years and never find something that old. |

A buddy of mine lives in Serbia and finds roman coins all the time and is quite up to date on them, I sent him the pic and asked him for any info and here is what he sent me.
That is Roman coin 4-th century, minted in Constantine reign. That coin is dedicated to city of Rome and there is VRBIS ROMA at the avers... on the back side of the coin is she wolf with Romulus and Remus.Value of the coin is about 50 $ and that can tell that coin is common...
For anyone who frequents the Whites forum that info is from Marcus. |

Groundsnooper,
I just flashed back to an incident from years ago. I was surveying a lot in a subdivision and had uncovered a property corner that marked the intersection of four lots. The lady from next door came out inquiring about our digging in her back yard. I explained that we were surveying her neighbor’s lot and that the marker I had uncovered was the “common” lot corner. She burst into tears and proceeded to explain to me that her recently deceased husband had paid to have that corner set and there was “absolutely nothing common” about it.
