Does anyone know how many Filters does a MXT use ?
Also is it possible to programe the DFX to mimic the MXT.... if so what settings do I need to adjust?

A couple of things u can do

1) set ur GB offset to +1 makes more sensitive to small objects

2) in a relic site w lots of iron- get a gb in a clean area then go in and set auto to off that will mimic the GB lock setting on hte mxt to prevent the detector from auto balancing to the iron in hte ground.

The MXT is a fast two filter machine, but accurate as a four filter.
